win2000 can't obtain ip address automatically

Hi there,

From some time my windows client cannot obtain IP address
automatically from DHCP server. When I try to type ipconfig /renew or
/release it says

C:\Documents and Settings\btgs>ipconfig /renew

Windows IP Configuration

An error occurred while renewing interface Local Area Connection 3 :
The system
cannot find the file specified.

There is only one solution for this problem,

I have to configure networking manually and then it works.
Other computers on the network work fine except this machine.

Any Ideas?

DHCP depended on it
