Win XP won't open any images

I have PSP 7 and Win XP home and Pro--2 different computers--and all of a
sudden anything with jpg,jpeg, bmp,art,dat won't open. I dissasociated them
with PSP and that did not help. I keep getting from Win and PSP that it's
not a recognized file type. I have tried every program on the puter and
nothing will open them. It's making the puter worthless since I do a lot
with my PSP programs. I have no computer knowledge so I need a reply that is
easy for a retiree to understand. Thanks

If this is a recent problem, you may need to empty your Temporary Internet
Files folder. In Internet Explorer, click on Tools, then Internet
Options... , then General tab (if it's not showing as being on top). In the
dialog box, click on the "Delete Files..." button in the next-to-top box
called Temporary Internet files.

Hope this clears it up. This is the most common cause and simplest fix of
this problem.
