win XP sasser infection but still have problems

Hi
i removed the sasser from my pc but when i try and remove
a program in add and remove programs it wont let me it
just flashes the uninstall window up then off again, also
if i try and load norton it does the same it flashes the
program window up then disappears almost instantly, it
happens if i do run and regedit so i cannot do a removal
or registry entries manually.
please can anyone help or is it a reinstall of xp

You probably have one or more viruses still on the computer.
