OS is WIN XP. Network setup to use DHCP. Cards report
working, but properties indicate packets sent, but none
received. Can ping NIC, but not outside to network.
Disabled onboard NIC, added pci NIC, same thing. Worked
fine 2 days ago. How can I remove and reinstall Network
part of OS? Is possible motherboard failure? any advice
appreciated.

One possible fix is to use System Restore to go back 2+ days to before
the problem started.

If you've created or edited any data files that aren't in My
Documents, copy them to My Documents before restoring so that the
system will preserve them.
