I have a HP computer that came with XP pre-installed on a
second Hard drive. I foolishly deleted the second hard
drive because I have a copy of windows XP. How can I
find the key in windows XP so I can Wright it down and
store it. Thank you for your help.

Joshua,

Your Product Activation Key is on a sticker on the PC - if it came
preinstalled by HP, or they provided you with a certificate of authenticity
which has the product activation code attached.

Since you deleted the Recovery partition. you can't use the OEM key. You
need to use the retail key that can with your copy of XP that you bought.
