Win XP Home Network

Cannot network 2 computers with Win XP even though it
shows up as on a network, get error message that I cannot
access files , needs administrator. I am administrator.

I have same problem with 3computers, (2)XPPro and (1)
98se. They can all see each other but XP's are
unreachable. XP's can connect to 98se. What gives?

Maybe you have a firewall, including the XP default ICF.

I have the same problem too. And winxp is supposed to be easy. I can
configure any win98se computers to the network anytime.
