I have had to do a complete reinstall of XP Pro after
problems with virus etc. Since the complete reinstall
Help seems to have lost its hyper-links so when you use
Help and click on to a link nothing happens. Has anyone
any ideas how to reactivate Help or does it mean another
reinstall.

Make sure your Help and Support service is set up to start
automatically.
To do this:

Right click on "My Computer" on your desktop.
From the menu, select "Manage"
--
From the list on the left, EXPAND "Services and
Applications", then click on "Services".
--
This will produce a list in the right window.
These are the services installed on your machine.
Look in the list for "Help and Support".
--
Can't find "Help and Support"? Try reinstalling XP again.
--
If you found it, look under the "Startup Type" heading
and make sure it is set to Manual.

If it isn't, right click on Help and Support,
select "Properties". Near the center of the window
that pops up, there should be a pull-down list where
you can select the Startup type. Select manual and
click "apply" then "ok".

Hope this helps.
