WIN XP, Close IE6 but connection popup does not appear

After closing IE6 the disconnection pop up does not
appear. This can lead to staying on line when not wishing
to. In WIN ME IE6 I had a "Disconnect when connection may
not be needed " checkbox. Unable to find it in XP
