Win XP application error

Heidi

I get an error message ashDisp.exe application error. The
application failed to initialise properly. COxc0000005.
Click on OK to terminate.
Could you please help. I do not know what is causing this
problem. This message occurs at boot up.

Your antivirus software is corrupt, you may need to reinstall it.

Hi Rick,
Thanks for your reply. I am using avast anti-virus and
don't know why all of a sudden why this is causing a
problem. This morning on boot up I got another message
ashmaiSV.exe Oxc000005 on the same lines as the previous
one!Is this also to do with avast?

Yes, it is. If reinstalling does not help, you should contact them for
further assistance with their application.
