Win XP and DOS ???

I had Win98 when the HD went bad. At that time I was using a app. called
StartUp Log. I was able to recover it and tried ti install it on XP
which I did but when I try to open and run it, I get a DOS window for
about a 1/2 second. Tried the compatibility mode, same thing. I
downloaded it from http://home.earthlink.net/~rmbox/Reticulated/Toys.html.
any help will be appreciated. Joe R.

Joe,
Since it says clearly that these utilities are for Win95/98, why would you expect them work on XP? There is no DOS in XP - at boot up or later - you'll need to find a similar utility for XP, as it's unlikely that this one will ever work in XP.
