Win Key

The Windows Key stopped working as it should. I found couple of
scripts to enable and to disable the key here http://malektips.com/windows_xp_0015.html
but they too do not restore the original. When I enable the key the
regular keys t,h,c,v do not work at all. I'd like to be able to
restore the original functionality of the key.

No luck, tried both scenarios, rebooted and nothing happened. On
enable when I pressed the desired combination, like Win+R, the
computer beeped.
should I also run Taskbar Repair?
