Win Clasic style

My apperance is stuck on "windows classic style" - this is still the case.

There's no other option is only lets me select that style. This is under the
"appearance, buttons and themes " how do I resolve this.
 
Did you try Start->Settings->Taskbar and Start Menu, then selected the
Start Menu radio button under the Start Menu tab?
