I didn't see this message posted yesterday so I'll give it another go. My
win 2 k pro install hangs at 12% (driver.cab) all the time. I have tried
installing as an upgrade from nt and also a clean install. Hard drive
formatted too many times to remember. Computer is sgi 320, dual 1gb PIII,
512 ram, prom 1.1005. Have replaced the cd rom w/o any change on install
hang-up. Anyone have an idea how to stop it from hanging up? Thanks,
Richard

How big is the hard drive? I had the same problem on a scsi 5gb drive
and I thought the reason may have been that the drive was too small,
but I wasn't sure.

Dave,

That Google Groups link comes up Not Found. Is this posted somewhere else?
I could really use this to solve the same problem. Many Thanks, Steve
