I have win 2000 running and its behind a firewall, its
all of a sudden started rebooting its self. It load up
to the spash screen and loads the blue bar to the top
then reboots.

It also does the same in safe mode. It gets to the part
where it says "your computer is in safe mode" i click ok
then it reboots.

Any ideas on how to get this to start or what may be
wrong?

Are you sure you haven't the Sasser worm?

Hint #1
Please see your free memory from task manager .
I have similler problem .Letter I have found that
as I install oracle 9i both 9i+win2k takes all(5mb free)128 ram .
So you may installed software that loads at startup and
taks most of your ram .

Hint #2
control pannel->system ->advanced tab->startup and recovery
uncheck "Automatically reboot"

Please give reply if my hint work for you or you find a new solution .
