tried to boot my win 2000 pro system and get the following message: setup
did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer...

What is this a sign of? A disk crash? A virus?

Thanks for any feedback.

thomas

Press the BIOS setup key at boot time (it's often the Delete key),
then see if the BIOS can find the hard disk.

Hmm, setup cannot find any hard disk drives installed on your computer.
Setup? What setup? Why is setup running?

Thomas, methinks there's something you're not telling us. Come clean now,
Thomas, what have you done?
