When I download and open PFD files they go to excel and not Adobe. I have 5.0 and 6.1 but how do I redirect the files to Acrobat Reader? Frustrating. On my Mellium platform[other PC) I don't have the problem. Also on one of my other pc's where I have 2000 pro installed, the same files default to Acrobat Reader. So what my problem...or better yet, what's the solution.

Thanks for your help,

Daniel

Select the file. Then hold Shift and right-click it. On
the menu, choose Open with, then 'Choose Program', which
will let you choose the program associated with that file
type.

I think you mean pdf files. Go to Windows Explorer | Tools | Folder Options... | File Types | Registered file types: | Extensions | select pdf | Advanced | Select Open (make sure this is bolded) | Edit... | Application used to perform action:

What does it say here? If it is Acrobat Reader and you bolded Open by setting it as Default your issue may now be fixed.
