will xp oem upgrade w2k?

Hi All,

If I buy a copy of xp oem with my new
motherboard, processor, memory, case,
DVD-RW, powersupply, yada, yada, will it
upgrade the currect Windows 2000 Pro
or will it do an overwrite?

Only a "retail version" of Windows XP Professional
can upgrade over an existing Windows 2000 installation.
OEM versions can only be install "clean" on a reformatted
drive or partition.
