When I use the "table" option on Publisher, can I use a filter to sort
alphabetically or must I copy/past each time I enter a new piece of

You should ask this question in a Publisher newsgroup. Microsoft
Access, the subject of this newsgroup, lets you create Queries which
can be sorted however you wish; however, Publisher is a different
program and I don't know how Publisher Tables are sorted, if at all.

Please scroll down the list of newsgroups and find one dealing with
Publisher; the volunteers there should be able to help.
