Hi, just checking by asking all of you this:

I've got lots of data (pictures, avi's etc.) on my d partition. I would
like to reinstall xp (which is installed on the c partition). Will the
data on the d partition still be available after reinstalling xp on c??
Or will they somehow get damaged or unreachable?

Thanx in advance.

Regards,
Gene.

Hi Gene,

Generally yes, data files and application will be kept intact. But
anything can happen.

It is highly recommended, that all data be backed up off system before
performing any type of reinstall or upgrade.
