Will outlook 2003 work with the rest of office 2000

I have just bought an I phone. It won't sync with outlook 2000. If I upgrade
outlook to 2003, will the other programs in microsoft office 2000 work with
it. Are there any known problems? Is it worth doing? Many thanks.

The most noticeable change is being unable to use word as your editor and
lose the features that only work with word, like spell check as you type.

It's highly recommended that you upgrade the entire suite.

Integration between components in Office only works if all components
are at the same version. You can use Outlook separately of the other
components in Office 2000. You won't be able to integrate them.
