system or if there is a trade in or what to do to get system working. I don't
even want to mention all my problems with the flaws i am coming across. Just
want it to work with NO MORE PROBLEMS.. Please tell me something ASAP

Do you think it would help to post some of the so called problems or is
everybody supposed to guess ???? It would also help to post your computer
specs as well as any error messages you may have gotten

No, Microsoft will not advise you on how to properly install their OS, setup
and maintain your computer, or anything else. These tasks are up to you.
Microsoft does provide all the information for you, but you have to get it.
What is the issue you are having with your system? There may be someone in
the group who can help.

ah, how about if I tell you that you are dreaming if you expect no more
problems from Vista. This isn't Microsux's finest hour...

ah, I think she just wanted to vent. or a "he" pretending to be a
"she". best to ignore, rather than implore for more info.

Your approach is not gonna get any help unless you actually explain the
problems you are experiencing.

Hi Katrinka,

If you bought a system with Vista preinstalled, then you need to contact the
manufacturer with any issues in running the system. The manufacturer is
solely responsible for support. Microsoft only supports retail packaged
products. If you installed a retail boxed version on your existing system,
then post back with the specifics of any issues if you would like some
assistance.

OK, I'll tell you something.

If you tell us what your problems are, you will very likely get
solutions to them.

If you don't, you won't.

Katrinka

If you just jumped into Vista and started using it like you used your
previous version of Windows, you are going to have problems. Hardware and
software programs must be checked for Vista compatibility prior to
installing them.

Take the time to learn about Vista before using the system.

*OK don't mean to cry over it; i did not just start using winvis, believe
me i have learned alot since getting it. it has lots of mismanaged items
that in win98/2000 were so much more manageable and in this system is so
unmanageable *like the file folders putting themselves in places i don't want
them. Like ie closing on me CONSTANTLY, like dvd player going nuts, word doc
is really nuts
so i will try to give you all my information as i go, its just time
consuming and my frustration got me the other day since i thought this was
going to be such a great os and its a headache but it has very good points
also, just too restricted for me i guess. i will probably go back to older
version, i don't know yet Maybe 32 bit is not right for it? i dunno just some
thoughts for you to ponder, alot of ppl are aggravated
*thanks again for being here to help me; believe me, i use many sites out
there for help
