Will more RAM help?

Our mdb is fine on the server in the office but when I do development work on
my notebook it can be frustratingly slow to save after (for example) adding a
control, or changing a property. It's probably only 15-20 secs but seems like
an age while you're waiting to see if it has worked!
I have a 1500Mhz Pentium M processor and 512Mb of RAM. I know the processor
isn't great but I can't afford to replace the notebook. Would an extra half
Gig of RAM make an appreciable difference? Is this type of task
processor-dependent, or more RAM-dependent?

Dear CW:

Check to see if Name Autocorrect is enabled; if so - turn it off. This might
solve the problem.
