Will fonts embed, and more....

Hi,

I have a few questions I wold be happy if someone can shed some light on:

1. Will the fonts I use for a presentation embed in the PP file, or will
PP grab a substitute when the presentation is viewed on another computer
(Windows, usually)?
If the latter, are there any ways of circumvent this and make sure
everyone will see the presentation as intended regardless of the
computer's font supply?

2. The presentation I'm making will be quite large. Except from keeping
the number of transitions and eye candy down, are there any common trick
to keep file size as low as possible?

3. I am considering making a movie out of the file, is that a good idea
or plain stupid in respect to usability?

4. Can I lock the file to make it impossible to edit or rearrange?

5. Any other general advice from seasoned PP user to a relative newbie,
technically or other, e.g. if PP Mac (Office 2004) makes files that are
compatible with any other PP version, or if there are issues I need to
watch out for?

Thanks a bunch for help and tips!

..

That depends....

Transitions add very little to the filesize. Pictures and "pasted" objects
at the most to the filesize.

That can be true on complicated presentations. I tend to save things with a
version number on the end.

e.g.
mypresentation-v01.ppt
mypresentation-v02.ppt

each time I do a save.

Or there is an add-in that can do this for you
