wildcards in rules

I use a rule that blocks a long list of "unwanted" words in the subject or
body unless it is from someone in my address book. But can I supersede this
with a rule to accept mail from "*.domain.com" and stop processing rules if I
want to receive mail from anyone at domain.com regardless of word content? I
am using 2002 and no exchange server.

Rules don't support wildcards. I don't recall if OL 2002 has a safe senders
list, but if it does, add "domain.com" to it.

No safe senders list in 2002. What if I create a rule that says "apply this
rule after the message arrives with domain.com in the sender's address move
it to the Inbox and stop processing more rules"? When Outlook is instructed
to look at the sender's address is the domain name considered as part of the
address that it checks?

Sounds like a reasonable experiment to me.
