Ok last nite power went out and then came back on. I waited for a bit then
turned my computer on. It started to make a humming sounds so i shut it off
again and turned it back on. It is still making the humming sound but nothing
seems to be wrong with the computer everything works it just hums. Does
anyone know why this is happening?

Ok i took off the cover and the noise seems to be coming from the drivers.
its a humming sound but it seems to be working right.

I suspect you mean the hard drive, correct? If so and you're sure it's the
hd, check for any loose screws, make sure the cables are securely connected.

If all appears in order you may want to backup the hard drive, preferably with
an imaging application to another alike drive. Then run a diagnostic integrity
check on the drive using the manufactures diagnostic disk that you should be
able to get from their site. A humming hd is not a good thing.

CD/DVD has no disc in it, right?

Sometimes fans that are used to running all the time will do that when
they're shut down for a while. I take the open case outside and blow all
the dust out of any fans (power supply, video card, motherboard, CPU) and
see if that helps. If the hum is fixed for a while but comes back, then
you need to replace a fan but you'll have to figure out which one.
