Widow and orphan control in reports.

Hi

My report is replacing a Word document where I could previously control
widows and orphans, i.e. a paragraph wouldn't have 1 line on the bottom of
one page and the rest on the next page.

In one example, a report section begins with a title as the last line of the
page and the contents that follow are on the next page.

If I can't do widow/orphan control, the equivalent to Word's table row
option of 'allow this row to break across pages' would be the next best thing!

Daryl,
You wrote...More important is... what section of the report would that be?
If it's a group header, you can go to the Sorting & Grouping, and
select Keep Together = Whole Group

That means that the Group Header will go to the next page if it,
and it's detail records, will not fit on that page's remaining space.

You can also experiment with each Group's Force New Page property,
to do a page break whenever a Group starts.
