Try 1440 x 900 or similar... providing your graphics card supports w/s
monitors, this should be one of the options in Display Settings, Monitor.
 
Hello all
I just purchased a new wide lcd monitor.
The picture is great but the wide effect causes the fonts/pictures to look
wider than in real world.

How (and if possible at all) do I add special resolutions . E.g. instead of
800 600 -> 1200 600 or so?
did not any1 think of it before? :)
