I had developed a WIA minidriver (modified the DDK src code) for an
upcoming flatbed scanner.
The driver works fine (i.e., in terms of acquiring data from the
scanner) upto 800 dpi.
When i try to scan at 1200 dpi, the pc becomes very slow. It takes
almost 50 minutes to scan an A4 size document.
The image size for scanning is 360 MB.
The scanner have the optical resolution for 1200 and above dpi's.
I have two queries on the above mentioned problem:
1> what would be the possible reaons for pc becoming very slow?
2> The time taken for the scanning.
