Why?

Can someone tell me why I cannot insert smiles pictures into my threads?
When I try to insert one smile the status bar says 'Error in the page'.
Note: disable smiles in text option is not selected.

I think its due to a javascript error. Can you double click it and tell me what it says?

Thanks for your fast replay.
I cannot double click it because it is a text anouncement on the status bar on the left bottom side of the screen.
It is the only forum with this kind of problem.
I have Win XP and IE in French.
The status bar says: 'Erreur de page' (Error of page).
Is is McAffe antivirus that desables it?
I am investigating...

I think it might be McAffe, or some other application - they often block Javascript and other things.

As a temporary workaround, you can use text to create the smilies using:

Ok its' ok now. Don't worry.
I went to User Control Panel / Edit Options / Miscellaneous Options
and have choosen Enhanced Interface Editing - Full WYSIWYG.
