I restarted my computer after it froze on me while trying Netflix
on demand movie viewing and now Windows gets stuck at start.
Would having 786k of hard drve space used as RAM cause a
problem?

You've given pretty much NO information.

- We can assume you have Windows XP (given where you posted) - but not what
version/service pack level. (Home, Professional, etc...)?
- What are you trying to say when you say you are using 768k of hard disk
space as RAM? That is an EXTREMELY small amount of space - like an OLD
floppy diskette worth.
- What do you mean when you say it "gets stuck at start"?

Have you tried Safe Mode?

It is Windows XP/srvc pk. In memory usage there is an option to
use a certain amount of hard dsc space as RAM. When started in safe mode,
start up stops at
"multi(0)disk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\Mup.sys".
