why won't the clip art paste at full size into my project?

eI'm trying to insert a picture into my business card project, and only a
small piece of the bottom of the picture comes up. This happens no matter
what picture I use, or how much room ther is - even on a whole blank card.
What's up with that?
 
Go to Format | Paragraph and change the line spacing from Exactly [whatever]
to Single.
