Why Won't Outlook 2003 Send E-Mail to Certain E-Mail Addresses?

Lately, I've had a few very strange rejections of e-mail that I've tried to
send from Outlook 2003. Whether I try to send the message as a Reply to
another party's e-mail or if I try to send a new message to a given
recipient, the same error message pops up immediately after I click the Send
button-too fast for the message to have been sent to the recipient and
rejected by the recipient or his e-mail server. I'm fairly confident that
this error message comes directly from Outlook 2003, though I have to
concede that it may be issued by my e-mail server, which is Comcast. The
message that pops up reads:

Subject: RE: RIGHT ON
Sent: 10/19/2005 8:47 AM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
Dan Edwards ([email protected]) on 10/19/2005 8:47 AM
None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.

This morning, I first attempted to reply to a friend's e-mail that he sent,
bearing the only e-mail address that he's had for several years. That
resulted in the error message above popping up immediately after I clicked
the Send button. That e-mail address is in my Contact cards.
Then I tried simply sending an e-mail to him at the address above, but
again, the same error message popped immediately after I clicked the Send
button.
Why is this happening? More importantly, how can I get Outlook 2003 to send
messages to that recipient properly?
I shall greatly appreciate your help.

Ok, I tend to agree, this is the 3rd posting I have read with the same
problems and ALL having Comcast. I wonder if there is any way to print all
these postings to PROVE to them, it is our wonderful Server causing our
problems? Hmmm (lol). Oh well, what to do? Miss PJ

OAA Smith,

I called Comcast and they said they are having a problem sending to msn and
hotmail and are working on the problem.
