why won't my instrumental song play in powerpoint?

When I try to insert a instumental music file into my presentation, it will
not play. All other songs on that same cd plays but that one. Please help...

I am running windows XP Home Edition with Microsoft Office 2003

What type of music? What is the filename extension? Midi?
