Why rich textbox keep disappearing?

I have a rich textbox on a form. Sometimes after running the application in
debugging mode, the rich textbox will disappear. Sometimes when I switch to
design mode, it will also disappear (after I have replaced it). I delete
the object creation references and recreate it, giving it the same name.

I've also had this problem with a textbox in a different project. Using
VB.NET 2003. Any one else experience this or know why it occurs?

Bear in mind with the reference that Cor posted, McAffee is just one app
that has been identified as triggering the weirdness - they are sure to be
others. Have you tried working on the project on a different machine to see
if it's a common problem with the app?

I'm using the project on two different machines and it occurs on both.
That's about the limit with my access to additional machines.
