Why no wb2 converter?

Hello,
seems there are converters available to open Quattro Pro for Windows 5.0
files (wb1) and 7.0 files (wb3).

I wonder if there is any reason why no 6.0 files (wb2) converter is
available?

Thanks,
Jan

Yes I saw this but it doesn't state why... I thought for example that the
wb2 format was not available or whatever...

it's shame... but thanks for reply

As you read, they tell you to Save as a previous version, so they knew
about it. Perhaps that version wasn't popular enough to warrant
expending the man-hours to write a convertor.

Well this requires you to have Quattro (and having the 6 version you likely
loss functionality in 5 format), and even if you do, it is not very
convenient way to migrate hundreds of Quattro files to Excel.

Perhaps I could try to create such converter, is there any developers
material available regarding this task?

I don't know but you could try asking in the excel.123Quattro or the
excel.SDK groups.
