why my 2nd series scale change?

I have a 2003 excel graph with 1st and 2nd series on Y axis left and right.
I did change the scale of Y axis left equal to Y axis right when create the
graph.
The graph is dynamic with data and some times I found the scale of Y left
and Y right mismatch?
Why is that?
How can I make Y left and Y right scale equal no matter what data change?
IF I delete the Y right scale, is it guarantee that the scale of Y left
and Y right will be equal?
THanks

If you leave the axis scaling on automatic settings, then the scalings will
change with the data values. You can set the scalings to manual, but then
they would not fit if new data values go outside your manually specified
scale.
One option, if you want to keep the settings automatic but want the two axes
the same, would be to create an additional series in your worksheet,
spanning the minima and maxima of the series from both your primary and
secondary axes, then plot that series (as an invisible line) on both the
primary and secondary axes of your graph.

Thanks David
Are there other simple solution because I have over 200 graphs? I just
want 2 scales of Y axes left and right equal no matter what data change.
I noticed that if I deleted the right format axis ( right click, clear),
the second series will follow the the scale of the first series?
Don't know that it is true or not
Thanks

If you only have a primary axis, series in the secondary axis group use the
primary axis.

No offense, but is there a reason you must clutter up your chart with a
redundant axis?

Thanks Jon
I want one scale at y left axis only but when I added another series excel
automatically create the x top and y left scale.
To make it clear, my 1st series
Y left: sale $
X bottom: items

my 2nd series
Y right: average of sale
X top: date of sale

THe way I create 2nd series is highlight xy range and move the cursor to
the graph.

I think I can delete the y right scale so the graph will be auto and no
mismatch of y left and right scale.

What are the chart types of the two series? Can you double click on the
added series and on the Axis tab choose Primary?

Both are line series? Or is one line and the other XY? I'm wondering why
Excel volunteered the secondary series.
