Why is wrapping only applied to half of the cells contents?

I have a large amount of information in a cell that cannot be split into
other cells. The cell has wrapping applied but when I view the cells
contents, only the first half of the information is actually wrapped
correctly, the rest is just displayed in lines that disappear off the end of
the cell.
Any suggestions for why the wrapping hasnt been applied across the entire
cell or how to change this so that all of the information is displayed?

Many thanks

Have you used ALT+ENTER to split the text so that it can be wrapped?

Thanks for that Bernard, have just tried it and although it will work, its
going to take a long time to do this manually as there is a fair amount of
text within the cell. Do you know of any other way to get the entire cell to
wrap?
Thanks again tho!

If it is going to take a lot of time, I wonder why you have so much text in
a cell.
Might not a textbox (which will auto-wrap) be a better option?
best wishes

I thought the same to be honest, im filling in a 'form' that has been
provided for me so cant really change anything as I dont know what they do
with the information when it is returned to the owner. Ill go ahead with the
ALT + Enter option to sort this cell out and hope that this doesnt occur in
many of the other cells within the form!
Thanks again

What you probably have is a protected worksheet or protected workbook if you
are filling in blanks for someone else. In a protected sheet/workbook
environment you can't reformat the cell. So unless the owner of the document
gives you more room to write you are relegated to the method described by
Bernard. If the sheet / workbook was not protected you could put your cursor
over the row line just below the numer of the row you wanted to expand and
double click to open the entire row to the wrapped text size. Woody
