I created a presentation with 75 slides. Each time I reopen the presentation
some slides are missing. Why!

Ivan,

How do you know they are missing. Is it during a slideshow when you view the
slides or when you are looking at the slides in the slide sorter.

The reason I ask, is because some slides can be set to what's called "hidden
slides", that do not appear during a slideshow.

TAJ,

I was creating the presentation. At the end of the day I would save and go
home. The next day when I wish to continue creating my presentation and I
find that a few slides which I had created was missing and it was about three
up from the last entry. This happened for two days.

In that case I'd suggest the following

Visit the microsoft office update site to make sure you have all the
"service releases / patches applied"

Then I'd suggest saving with version numbers...

e.g.

my-presentation-v01.ppt

then when you edit the file save it

my-presentation-v02.ppt

etc
