Why is my report showing Japanese characters??

I have a report with a number of calculated controls. here is one of them
=DLookUp("[Sum of
txtDomidtot]","qryFDApage2Irish","[txtmonthlabel]=[txtqtr2]")

There are a number of these. The font is Arial 8pt and in Design the formula
looks OK but when I preview my report the controls show figures that look
like Japanese characters??? This is a sample ????It isn't happening anywhere
else.Anyone any idea what's going on???

Tony:

From time to time Windows can have problems with fonts becoming corrupt in
the install (i.e. not registered properly.) Try changing the font to see if
that solves the problem and if so, then copy the arial font files out of the
font folder to some other folder, then delete the arial fonts in the fonts
folder and re-install them from Windows Explorer's file menu by navigating
to the location where you copied them.
