Why is my computer restarting?

I get something from NT Authority/System saying something
about the RPC (Remote Procedure Call) being unexpected or
something of the sort. It gives me a minute to save all
work and restarts my pc. Its happened twice in 5 minutes.

Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and install all
critical security updates.
Also install and use a personal firewall on your Internet
connection.

 

I think I had the same problem, is there a way to query an event log -
the description part, for specific errors like if I had RPC errors
rather than going thru every individual error

4. Enable Internet Connection Firewall to keep re-infection from occurring.
To enable the Internet Connection Firewall in Windows:

Press Start\Control Panel, double-click Networking and Internet Connections,
and then click Network Connections.
Right-click the connection on which you would like to enable Internet
Connection Firewall, and then click Properties.
On the Advanced tab, click the box to select the option to Protect my
computer or network.
