Why is my blinking cursor really short?

I don't know what I did, but I'm working in Word and my blinking cursor for
some reason is about half the height it normally is. Does anyone know why, or
what to do to return it to normal height?

In the "Search for" box of "Discussions in Word General Questions" type the
words "cursor height" and press "GO". You will get a number of answers, many
of the same answer.

It's a minor bug. Set the zoom to 500% then back to your preferred setting.
