Why is email signature disabled in Outlook 2003 SP2

i recently installed Service Pack 2 for Office 2003. Prior to this I had set
up automatic signature on Emails and it worked fine. Now when I send an email
there is no signature. On checking in Tools - Options - Mail Format, the
Signature options are greyed out.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this? Anyone from Microsoft know if
this is a reported bug?

Thanks,
Martin.

The most likely cause is that the network administrator set one of the group policy options for signatures. These didn't work in earlier versions of Outlook 2003, so could easily have been forgotten.
