Why is all content in word document underlined in blue?

I'm new to Word 2007. I'm working on a word document and everything in it is
underlined in blue. How do I remove it?
 
BLock the text, then hit Ctrl+Shift+F9. Its there because there is a link
that is embedded in that text.
