why I can't change screen resolution?

hello,erverybody!
i had run xpe in my target,and my target is via cpu;when i add "Trident
Video Acceerator Blade 3D/ProMedia" and setup the resolution is 800x600,but
when target running,it is 640x480? why? everybody help me ,thanks!
