Why Excel creates hyper link in case of formula.

While executing a formula such as = L5 - @sum(O5:M5), a hyperlink is
created. However in case of a formula =L5 - O5 a simple figure is displayed.
Can anyone explain how to avoid excel from creating hyperlink.

Don't use "@" in a formula.
= L5 - Sum(M5:O5) would work..
