why does wrap text not work in the cell if multiple lines

Hi, with multiple lines - some numbered e.g. 3) dfkjfddfkf - the wrap text
does not work and the text disappears beneath the right hand cell wall. How
do I get each line to wrap so it is visible in the cell? The wrap text box is
ticked but has no effect.

Have you tried to use Alt-Enter where you want the line break within the
text? Does that show all the text?
