Why does Regression tool in '07 not display Line Fit Plots correct

Hi,

I noticed that if you run the Regression tool in the Analysis Toolpak in
Excel 2007 and check "Line Fit Plots" checkbox, that you get a column chart
as a result...However, if you do the same thing in Excel 2003 you do get the
correct Line chart. Is there a flaw in Excel 2007 for this output?

Any insight?

Yes, it's a reproducible bug in Excel 2007 SP1.

To fix the line fit plot, select the chart, choose Chart Tools | Design |
Change Chart Type, and select one of the XY (Scatter) chart types.
