Why does my Word document automatically minimize?

Why does my Word document page automatically minimize when I hit on it? I
don't want to keep mazimizing the page in the middle of writing!
 
There is nothing in Word that can cause this. There are other
possibilities - such as touchpad enhancements on a laptop - but nothing that
I know that is particular to Word. Does this happen in other applications as
well?
