Why does my powerpoint not play music files downloaded from CDs?

For some reason, powerpoint does not play any files I download from any CD,
even when saved as windows media file. It works fine when using music I've
downloaded.

Does anyone know why and can help fix the problem??

The music probably has Digital Rights Management and thus cannot be
inserted into PowerPoint.

i saw an update for music/sounds...check the web updates
