I want to send a message to a distribution list titled "White Mountains," but
when I tested it, it showed my name instead of White Mountains in the "To:"
field. I even put the distribution list in the Bcc field. What is the deal?

State your Outlook version, how you created this DL and how you are entering
it into the To: field.
Create a new DL as a test and see what happens when you insert it.

It is Outlook 2003. To create it I go File...New...Distribution List. The To:
field is populated when I choose the distribution list from my contacts and
insert it into the Bcc field.

Still vague.
List steps more precisely.
Can't repro.
